Since the first lockdown came into place with the ongoing pandemic I managed to get holed up back in my Country beginnings just north east of Oxford in the Cotswolds. Throughout the past two Spring and Summers here I’ve been fortunate enough to reconnect with the amazing nature on my doorstep and found a huge inspiration in the flowers growing in the garden. I’m especially drawn to the Echinacea flowers and their dramatic cone centres. Below is a selection of the Flower Series that is currently on-going and evolving.
THE SIMPSONS - 30TH ANNIVERSARY
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Simpsons in 2019, FX Networks asked Awesome Inc to help them create a graphic “thank you” spot full of characters, icons and catch phrases in honour of its epic global audience. I was asked to contribute some freehand typography and illustrations for the project which can be seen in the above motion video.

Work.Life Manchester Mural.
The gang at Work Life have ventured northwards and have opened up a brand new space in the heart of Manchester city centre on Brown Street, a stones throw away from the Northern Quarter and Exchange Square. Always great to be working with the gang again and creating a Cityscape emcompassing the old with the new…
Concertus Stairwell Mural - Ipswich.
To celebrate Concertus Headquarters 1st year anniversary in there brand spanking new studio space in Ipswich I was invited to add a splash of colour over the four floors in the stairwell. The key mural elements were based on the brands ethos and key milestones that the company has made to date. A massive thanks to both Daniel Luenswilken and Oliver Turner for creating the short video giving you an in-sight of the Mural process.
London Infrastructure Summit - Live drawing.
A fun days freestyle illustrating at the London First Infrastructure summit that took place in the QEII Centre in Westminster. This year’s key topics were discussing transport and developments with regards to Crossrail 2, environmental issues: improving air and water quality within London, housing and the need of more affordable housing within the capital and the digital infrastructure with 5G being a big topic. Throughout the day I got to talk to numerous attendees and ask them what key factors they’d like illustrated on the wall. It’s always slightly nerve-wracking not having a sketch to work from but just as exciting to see how a mural organically grows and takes shape throughout the day…. Hoping to do more jobs like this in the near future!
HIXTER RESTAURANT PDR x LUKE EMBDEN
A little bit of naughtiness and a lot of fun painting the PDR for Hixter Bankside. Food as you can imagine was the running theme throughout the mural alongside many London landmarks. The infamous Roast Chicken and Beef Burger took prime spots on the walls, this being one of the signature dishes at both Hixter and the Tramshed.

Kona Hyundai Launch - Live painting on Boeing 747.
To co-inside with the launch of the new Kona by Hyundai I was invited to paint on a Boeing 747 over the course of the 3 day presentation. Each day multiple groups from Hyundai would partake in group workshops where I would have 15 minutes to put up words and mind-map thoughts and features of the new car.
